Things To Do in Sydney

Looking for things to do in Sydney today? There’s so much to see and do in this beautiful city but how do you know where to start?  We’ve done the hard work for you and compiled a list of some of our top picks.

Bondi to Coogee Walk

This 6km walk in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs is one of Sydney’s most spectacular coastlines. Take in stunning views of beaches, parks, cliffs, bays and rock pools, that has plenty of rest stops along the way as well as places to swim and grab a bite to eat. If you stop by in late spring, you’ll also be able to see the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition, that brings in artists from all over Australia and the world, who transform 2km of the coast into a sculpture park.

Royal Botanic Gardens

Experience the tranquillity of the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens that feature plant life from around the world. From succulents to herbs and tropical greenhouses, it is the most perfect spot in the city to take a walk or plan a picnic. There are even guided tours that run daily if you’re interested to learn more about the life in the gardens and the history.

Museum of Contemporary Art

Located in a beautiful spot overlooking Circular Quay, the MCA showcases Australian and international contemporary art. They have a rotating permanent collection that has recently been expanded and can be seen for free, as well as temporary exhibitions that you can pay to see.

Sunbathe on a Floating Pontoon

The Murray Rose Pool is named after champion Olympic swimmer and is the perfect spot for families or less confident swimmers. The harbour-side enclosure is a large, shark-netted enclosure, with calm waters, and a sought-after floating pontoon to lie and soak up the sun on.

Sydney Tower Eye

Visit the tallest building in Sydney and see the best 360-degree views of the city from the Observation Deck, 250 metres above the streets of Sydney. Learn more about points of interest using our interactive touch screens you will find throughout the deck. For something a little different, keep your eye out for our upcoming events, from all-you-can-eat dumplings to silent discos, and even New Year's Eve celebrations, there is always something happening.
