Lights On
Step out onto SKYWALK this Vivid and see Sydney shine from above as the city comes alive in colour. Rising 268 metres above the harbour, you’ll take in sweeping views of the skyline as thousands of lights flicker on across the streets, buildings and waterfront below. From the open-air platform at Sydney Tower Eye, experience the energy of Vivid from a whole new perspective, surrounded by panoramic views and unforgettable moments high above the city.
Drone Show
Important notice regarding Drone Show: The Vivid Sydney ‘Star-Bound’ drone show has recently experienced technical issues and is currently under review by the event organisers. As such, we cannot guarantee upcoming performances will be visible on the SKYWALK tour. As an outdoor, weather-dependent event, the drone show may also be cancelled at any time by the organisers, including close to the scheduled start, if conditions are deemed unsuitable.
Step out onto SKYWALK this Vivid and take your place above it all, where Sydney’s skyline becomes the front-row to the Star‑Bound drone show. With tours starting from 7pm, you’ll be walking 268 metres above the city as the 7:30pm drone show unfolds beneath and around you, seen from Sydney’s highest viewpoint. Watch as thousands of lights rise, swirl and transform into a breathtaking story of life and cosmos, all from an open-air platform that offers a perspective unlike anywhere else in the harbour.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything for you to know before stepping out into the lights.
SKYWALK is for ages 10+. However we do have a ratio of 1 adult per 10 year old and 1 adult per 3 kids aged 11-17 year old.
For Example. If you have a 10 year old and an 11 year old, there will need to be two adults. If you have an 11 and 15 year old, there will need to be one adult.
To be able to do SKYWALK you must be a minimum of 90cm
Yes you must have with you:
- A passport or Driver's licence (a photo is okay, as long as it is eligible)
- Covered in shoes (no sandals, heels, boot heels)
Please arrive at least 45min early. If you are late it may result in a re-booking fee.
No, you can't take your phone or camera outside. However as part of our Vivid Sydney SKYWALK package all photos taken by our expert photographer are included.
There are no discounts for the VIVID Sydney SKYWALK.
Yes, you have complete access to the Observation Deck and their later opening hours during Vivid Sydney. Just make sure you pre-book your timeslot.
You can upgrade your General Admission ticket, however spots will sell out for our Vivid Sydney SKYWALK's, so we recommend booking those straight away. If you do want to upgrade on the day you risk all spots already being taken.
